Analyze your link's clicks
Analyze and optimize your links: boost your conversions with analytics
Creating links and sharing them is good... but knowing what really works is essential for optimizing your marketing campaigns. Performance tracking allows you to measure the impact of each link, identify improvement opportunities, and increase your conversions.
Access platform analytics
- Log into your weespin account.
- Open your application menu.
- Go to the Links section then choose the link you want to analyze.
- In the analytics dashboard, use the available filters to choose the analysis period:
Last Hour
→ ideal for tracking a campaign in real-time.Last 12 Hours
→ useful for observing recent spikes.Last 24 Hours
→ view of the past day.Last 7 Days
→ weekly tracking.Last 30 Days
→ monthly overview.Last 90 Days
→ long-term analysis and trends.Tip: Start with
Last 24 Hours
to identify immediate performance, then expand the period to confirm trends.
Understand key metrics
The indicators you can track in analytics are:
Total Clicks
: total number of interactions on your link.Parameters
: personalized values (e.g., first name, campaign, etc.) that you passed in the URL, with their frequency.Clicks by Region
: countries where clicks come from (e.g., Cameroon).Clicks by Operating Systems
: operating system used (e.g., Mac OS X).Clicks by Devices
: type of device (mobile, desktop, other).
This data allows you to know who clicks (parameters), where clicks come from (geography), and on which devices/systems they interact most.
Interpret the results
- Identify strengths:
- A growing click volume shows that your link attracts attention.
- If a region or OS dominates, this indicates where to focus your marketing efforts.
- Detect weaknesses:
- Few clicks → link visibility problem (placement, communication).
- Clicks concentrated on one type of device/OS → check compatibility with other platforms.
By adding personalized parameters (UTM or others), you'll be able to know which exact campaign or message generates the most engagement.
Conclusion
Analyzing your links is not limited to looking at numbers. It's a strategic tool for:
- Replicating successful campaigns.
- Quickly correcting less effective campaigns.
- Optimizing placement, timing, and message of your future links.
